So who made this site? The site was first designed and published in July, 2005 by an anonymous FLCL fan who goes by the handle “takai003″. Since then, the site has grown into the popular FLCL community that it is today. The website is owned, operated, and updated by takai003 and much of the content comes from his research in a collaborated effort with the community. FLCLw encourages people to contribute to the website in an effort to provide a valuable and entertaining resource. Hence, a lot of what you see on the site today has been contributed by members of the FLCLw forums.
In 2006, FLCLw.com became the most popular English-language FLCL site.
