This obscure Japanese fan-made FLCL game is an unfinished work. The creator stopped working on it last year. However, you can still play as Haruko or Evil Haruko and battle it out in front of Naota’s bakery.

Since the game is in Japanese, you will need to have Japanese encoding support (unless you have a Japanese copy of Windows XP!). I’ve provided simple steps to enable Japanese language support on your computer.
Before You Play
1. Make sure you have DirectX 9+ installed. If not, you can download and install it directly from the Microsoft website.
2. Go to your control panel in Windows XP. If you are in Category view, go to “Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options” and then click “Add other languages.” If you are in Classic view, go to “Regional and Language Options.”
3. In the Regional and Language Options window, click on the Languages tab. Check the box that says “Install files for East Asian languages.” You will be prompted to restart your computer.
4. Back in the Regional and Language Options window, click on the Advanced tab. In the drop-down menu for the language for non-Unicode programs, select Japanese. You may be prompted to restart your computer.
At this point, your computer should be ready to run the Littlebusters FLCL game. The game is simple to run, just download, extract the folder, and open the file called “セカンドヒート” (with the red man icon).
