Hm, Amazon has a decent price for DVDs. I think I might buy them all. If I don't like the price, I'll just check out eBay I guess.

How come i managed to get episodes 1-6 on one official DVD, when it seems that everone else is shelling out lots'a cash on a set of three? Or do i have the cut-down version that has all 6 episodes in one disc but doesnt have any special features, directors commentry and booklet and junk? Can smeone else explain this because it seems odd to me.

Most likely you have a bootleg copy. Meaning, someone copied all of the episodes onto a CD and resold them to you to make some money.

I believe Gainax released all of the episodes on one disc in Japan though for a limited edition.

It doesnt seem bootleg though. Its all quality packaged and the disc looks pretty authentic and it has the title screen and everything, or am i just being naive, and that anyone could cook up a half decent title screen and a cd front and case. hmm ill have to see, either way its really good quality so im not complaining.
