I would kill to see them live, but there's no way it could happen, no one could replace Jim Morrison

Of course not, that's why after his death, they just toured as an instrumental group.

I still think it's hilarious how Led Zeppelin tried to tour without Robert Plant

-shudders-
I think they should never have done that tour, they just did almost a year back. Robert Plant can't sing for shit no more these days.

The tour The Who did last year was good, at least from what my friend told me, and I'm going to this free Blue Oyster Cult concert in november and seeing Mastodon in the same month

Blue Oyster Cult is bomb!
Eh, Mastodon sucks, though... Instrumentally they're good, but I ain't into that type of music.

when it comes to music I always like to broaden my horizons, as long as it isn't rap or country :B1:, for the longest time I hated that kind of music, and when my friend finally made me listen to a couple bands I started to like it, some stuff is just terrible like Cannibal Corpse, but there's some really good bands like Mastodon, The Devil Wears Prada, Between The Buried and Me

Ever heard the song Space Trucking by Deep Purple? I can't stop listening to it...

Deep Purple, and Mastodon are two totally different genres...

But yes, of course I have, I love classic rock. I've listened to more of that type of music than a lot of people, it's just no good.

I know, the Deep Purple thing was a side note, I've been listening to the song for the past hour

it took me till just last year of listening to classic rock for so long, that maybe I should listen to some new music, sure classic rock is great, but you gotta move on sometime, well it started with my favorite band, System Of A Down, the amount of money I would pay for them to get out of their "hiatus"...fucking hiatus's

I listen to The Blues, Classic Rock, Alternative Rock, Bluegrass, Classical, Jazz, A Capella, Alternative Hip-Hop, Anti-Folk, Folk, and still many more...

You should listen to some new music, it isn't like I'm confined to a box, I know what I'm talking about.

I think I listen to plenty of music, not that I feel like listing it

Well, you said "But you gotta move on sometime", as if, I had no variety in musical selection.

that's not what I'm saying at all, they had the almost the same genres back then as they do nao, I'm just saying at some point you have to listen some newer music, you know, don't dwell in the past
