It's not really story-telling if it's told in a non-linear fashion. It's more like story-assembling. Albeit it is a great story. But when a developer chooses to tell a story through a non-linear gameplay fashion, and not just a non-linear fashion, then it means they're doing something a little bit more and a little bit less than story-telling. More because every encounter has to be compelling and interesting. Less because there is no real main story, just events loosely placed together, and they rely upon the gameplay style to make the game come together, instead of writing a true narrative.

I'm not saying they were bad. They're some of the best Western RPG's. And I'm not saying Fallout 3's story was good. Pretty much everyone disliked the main story. But, in a way, non-linear games will always be easier to write for, because each encounter can be isolated, and each one is a small, encapsulated story based upon fetch-quests and missions.

I guess it wasn't really an argument. More of a side-note.

I dunno how after playing F1 and F2 you could come to the conclusion Non-linear stories are easier to write. Rather then having ONE option, and writing one set of dialogue, you have to write a huge amount more, and you have to make every path beleivable. The point is, It makes it feel as though the events are all real in the way the effect things. Which in my opinion is far better storytelling then only having one side to go with, inevitably the "right" side.

THEN THE QUEEN AND THE NEW KING, TLR, RULED OVER "ANIME LAND" AND PEACE WAS BROUGHT TO THE COUNTRY FOR YEARS TO COME.

IT IS UNKOWN WHAT SCHEMES ZILLYINGTON WORTH MAY BE PLOTTING, BUT THEY ARE CERTAINLY DARK SCHEMES THAT TOOK MUCH SCHEMING TO SCHEME THEM UP. ONE DAY. HE AND HAZ WILL RETURN TO GET THE ONE RING TO RULE THEM ALL.

Amusingly that day did eventually come and Haz came back from the Mortal again he went up to Scissor and killed him using some new fangled technology called a gun furthermore the Wizard who helped him relive again was named William it was part of a takeover plan that was put in By Zilly's and William's Scheming and so it was the Jid was removed as Queen and Haz became the 1st President of Anime Land However there was a danger afoot as the evil black knight Maskan who had fell in love with the queen wanted to take down this republic and Bring back the queen into power! would it ever happen? FIND OUT IN THE NEXT CHAPTER

sadly, even though maskan was in love with the queen, she would always be in love with TLR and nothing could change that, so maskan decided to help anyway just to make the queen happy.

Meanwhile, Revenant was a highway bandit stealing travelers' most valued possessions and giving them words of wisdom in return. He eventually amassed enough Most Valued Possessions to open his own Most Valued Possession Emporium, selling people their Most Valued Possessions back at exorbitant prices.
