But seriously, Billy Ray Mills.

Billy was the name of a town sheriff that kept my dad out of jail as a kid.

Yet everyone assumes my name is William. I get this quetion at least once a week from customers.

And of course, since my name is Billy Ray and I grew up in the early 90's, there was no end to the Cyrus jokes.

But here's somethin. You grow up and deal with that shit. Except you, that's some kinda sand nigger name.

Back in the day Pomeroy was Norman,(des pommes Roi) so almost viking (vikings were given land in Normandy in return for not fucking up France) but after we came over with William the Conquerer it got slowly bastardized from the French into its current form.

I have a pretty simple name. Catherine Mary Harris.

The only thing people get wrong is spelling Katie with a "C", but that's very understandable.
