anyone been to a Anime Con before?
if so, witch one, and how did you like it?

anyone dressed up as an anime or game character before?

I used to go to Oni-Con in Houston for a while a few years back, but, stopped going because it was un-interesting.

I'd only go to some ones if it was a big time one and worth paying the expensive prices to get in and to buy anything inside.

Didn't dress up any of the times although.

went to something called vision-con once. technically its a scifi/fantasy con but they had a rom with anime playing. it was all pretty bad anime, something called dnangel.

there was also a little art gallery that was pretty cool, but it was mostly boring.

I hear Texas Has a few really great cons. I think A-Kon is the biggest

@ YR yeah DNangel sucks. (the anime anyways) the manga is pretty ok. but its hard to judge it because its been on hiatus for like 5 years

ive never been to a con but I really want to

my first con will be AM^2 this summer and im really exited. im going to cosplay as CCS Sakura all three days

ive cosplayed before, but only for costume party's, and Halloween.
ive been Kairi(KH2), Mamimi(FLCL), and Yoko (Animatrix)

My brother wanted to go to some convention (not anime) in Austin. The idea of going as the Venture Brothers popped up. That would've been funny.

Seems like for the past few years we've had one here in Birmingham that some genius dubbed OmegaCon. Supposed to be a mix of trekkies and anime and comicbook fans and I haven't been able to go yet but I want to.

I've had sex at a con. I've also done acid there. The two were only sort of related.

My con experiences tend to be an even 50:50 split of "wtf so amazing" and "wtf I want to kill everyone". The fact that I can get most of the merch they sell at booths in the con online, as well as all the fat Narutards I have to endure can make it a trying experience.

Also, humping lines. Good fucking god...every time there's music playing, fucking sexually repressed weeaboos will start humping the air and make me ashamed to have any connection with them at all (from anime to ethnicity to species)
