Dragonball Z

Talk about specific anime other than FLCL. What's Gainax up to lately?

Dragonball Z

I haven't seen DBZ in probably 10 years, but some of my favorite moments watching anime were during this series. I remember watching it on Toonami after school every day. Anyone else use to watch this? Is it still around?

I remember watching it on Toonami. (:
Those were the days. ddd:!!

I remember not liking it the further it got, though, like when Bulma got married to that d-bag. And that pink marshmallow-looking guy. Lame.

I really liked Dragonball, as well.

I steered away from watching it because my parents would of thought I was watching gay porn outside the room.

Always wished I could watch it growing up, but I didn't have cable till I was like 17, so I kinda just ever did. Now whenever its on, i usually have it playing in the background, but I never really get into it.
Been considering reading the Dragon Ball manga lately, but who knows if ill ever get around to it....

Only original Dragonball is good as it is like a mock of Martial Arts and had fights that didnt take 50 episodes to finish.

i know the dbz story layout was pretty much the same*
but it kept me very entertained as a child

its like how some guys love transformers or today's hipsterfags like MLP+

it holds a place in us forever
if you don't like it, fine by me

its all a matter of opinion......

*they start fighting, goku is not there it takes him til the very last minute and i wonder why they are so glad to see him where the yshould be pissed for getting the shit beat out of them

+i know i am one, and i stick by what i said tee hee

This.

Also, it took 50 episodes to complete someone saying a complete sentence because at the time the show was being made, so was the Manga so they had to add A LOT of fillers. Sort of like a Bleach kind of situation.

However, on DBZ Kai, they shorten everything and the show is actually watchable. You have to give the creator of the entire series from dragon ball to dragonball GT, he has incredible patience.
