Do you know what this is?

Okay, so I saw an anime at a friend's house a couple of years ago & for the life of me I can't remember the name.

I do remember, though, that it was about a group of girls (I think they were in high school) who are in like, a type of gang. They got in fights with other 'gangs' and things like that. I remember the girl who I was watching it with saying something about how there are really girls like that in Japan and that's how they got the name.

Does anyone have any clue at all what I'm talking about?

try describing more than just the bare plot, character development, artstyle, humor to action/drama ratio, etc

these things can help out.

Unfortunately, I can't really remember anything other than what I already said.

I think they had like, fake tans & wore a lot of makeup, though.

Whatever, it's not really a big deal. haha.
