I'm not even attempting to say it was anywhere near as good as, say, FLCL, or even a mid-range anime like Bleach, but that it was watchable and had funny and cutesy elements and that it deserves a meaningful discussion.

Dragonballs was such complete garbage that I couldn't even understand what the fuck it was about. Made FLCL look like Sesame Street in terms of understandability. Bleach is totally watchable if you believe in friendship and chivalry and all the other things a decent human being believes in.
