So untrue. I know several people, including me, who bought an xbox just to play halo. Halo is by far the most successful xbox game ever released.

What about Gears Of War?

Or Elder Scrolls 4?!

Or Fallout 3?

Or Elder Scrolls 5 which comes out in like, 3 months!

I hear rumors that xbox is getting the Boku no Pico game.

i have my 360...and neo geo.....and DC...and ps2

Silly Xbro, we all now PC is master race. No need for consoles to war for second place.

YEAH, WE ALL NOW!

Ehh... in all honesty, I mainly play my 360. The only shit worth while on PC is space shooters, which are my favorite genre, but bassically dead now days.

My favorite all time console was Xbox. WHAT PC PLAYED STEEL BATTALION, HUH?!

PC is better for every genre but platformers and racers, and even then you can just plug in a controller. If you want to get on the subject of the Xbox in specific, it's almost exclusively shooters with very few exclusives in general, everything on it I can just play a better version of on PC. Consoles were a stupid idea in general (maybe not from a marketing stand point) because they hold back the hardware and separate games for no reason when they could all be on one increasingly powerful device. The only reason I ever touch my Xbox is to play Black Ops with some friends and probably Gears 3 when that comes out.

Oh yeah, and spending a hundred bucks once a year to upgrade my pc just so it can operate the minimum capacity needed to play Witcher 2 is totally worth it.

I prefer my console. I'll play PC games 6 years down the line when I am once again forced to upgrade my PC, and the old games are now out dated and cheap. I will not heap money at a computer just to play the latest game.

PC game sells fall every year. There is not much of a need to pump my money into a dying system. Deny it all you want, fewer and fewer games are made for the PC.

Also, again. Show me Steel Battalion on PC. Show me.

Don't care about Steel Battalion. I have a PC running on 3-4 year old hardware and I'm still running most current games on high settings, you only need to upgrade every couple of years. Game sales don't matter, PC's will always be available to everyone therefore they will always have a market for games

I doubt that. Considering the ever increasing lack of games made for the platform, I see a certain decline.

Very few games on the PC I feel I need.

Now, go get Witcher 2 and attempt to play it on this "3-4" year old pc. I want to see how this works out for you.

lolwut?

There are more games being made for PC than ever before. I mean, seriously, I see new stuff on Steam every day. It's pretty well priced too, digital distribution is usually cheaper than buying a physical product, due to lowered production costs.

Now, the games may be taking longer to produce, but that's because the quality and complexity of the games has increased.

There's also the Indie developer market. You have small teams making amazing mods and stand alone games, and they usually cost less than half of what most games by major developers do.

Look at Terraria for instance, it sold 50,000 copies on the first day of it's release, despite that fact that it was leaked and distributed online beforehand.

There may not be as many PC exclusives being made as their used to be, but there will ALWAYS be a market for PC games, especially as technology allows more and more people to get into the development industry.
