FLCL The Perfect Collection

Postby roflzhaveridges » Mon Jul 06, 2009 6:20 am

Hello, I'm new to the forums and I have a question:

Does anyone know anything about the DVD "FLCL The Perfect Collection"? Here is a link of it http://www.shopanimedvd.com/product_info.php?products_id=2797 and I just wanted to know if anyone knew anything about it because I want to buy it on eBay but it says the DVD region code is zero and I really don't want to buy it if it's just a burned DVD with all six episodes. Because FLCL is my favorite anime and I have all six episodes that I downloaded online and the quality on there is pretty good but I also want it on DVD and was wondering if anyone on here had this DVD so they could tell me about it, like how is the quality and everything you know? Thanks for your time, and help.

I've bought anime shows like that before. There always super cheap, and honestly they are great quality for the amount of discs they can fit series on.

However that isn't even $10 so that is probably just some foreign person who burned the series, and not actually a "Ganix" thing. If you want the real "authentic" dvd copies you'll have to shell out more money lol

Haha yeah, I was kind of skeptical when I noticed it was only like seven dollars, but on eBay people have the same "Perfect Collection" DVD with pictures of the actual case and it looks pretty legit and on eBay they sell it for about twenty-five dollars. Here are pictures of the case:

Thank you so much for the reply!

And for some reason, the links won't actually link...

Yea ebay is a good place to go for cheap things, but not always the REAL thing, if you get what I mean.

Most of the series I buy is off ebay, cause they sell them usually loads cheaper, but like I said it isn't the real thing. I mean they are (in my experience) great buys, you can't ask for a cheaper price, but I believe this is the actual ultimate edition.

FLCL Ultimate

Postby bebopjazz07 » Sat Aug 01, 2009 5:53 am

If you're still looking for the Ultimate edition FLCL set, I'm selling one currently. On Amazon.com, user bebopjazz07. Just search for FLCL and choose the Ultimate edition from the list, I'm one of only a few sellers that have it listed. Apparently the thing is pretty hard to find (I didn't know that before I tried listing it). I'm also selling the regular edition with the original hardcover box (before the Ultimate edition came out) for a bit less. Yes, I bought it twice... I have a problem. :)
