I don't watch Bleach. I read it. >_> <_<

But yeah, I gave up on watching Bleach a long time ago. Too much filler, the action was too few and far between, and every episode had a 5 minute recap at the beginning. It's only saving graces were the music, which lost its charm later on, and it's oh-so-sexy snippets of mind-meltingly, deliciously awesome battle sequences.

Reading it is another story, however. Usually it's just 17 pages of nothing, with a little action, some forced drama, a lot of drawn out battles, and dome surprised faces. (actually, the manga and the anime aren't so different after all)

I've invested too much time in the series to not see it through to the end, though. IMO it went the way of DBZ after the first arc. The over-archng story is good, though, they have some good characters, and Ichigo is just too cool to ignore. I just hope Kubo doesnt milk it like One Piece does. (HALFWAY THROUGH AT 500 CHAPTERS WHAT?!)

I prefer reading the manga too. You can go straight to your favorite parts and skip the ones you hate.

I don't like Bleach at all, and find it to be a poorly written, overstretched anime, relying on poor plot elements and halfassed fight scenes where the characters remain static almost the whole time. Essentially a filtered, rehashed version of Inyuasha.

i don't know, i would say bleach has a lot more variety than inuyasha, and the plot twists aren't as bad.

That's true, but it still feels like the story keeps getting more tacked onto the end of it, and it try's it's hardest to waste as much time as physically possible, throw in three or so minutes of story progress, and then end. It's sort of like Moe, but at least with Moe you feel interested in the more drawn out irrelevant pieces, and it's about character development, so it's actually important to watch to see how the characters have progressed.

With Bleach, it feels like fluff, because it is fluff. There is pretty much no character development, with all of the characters stuck exactly as they where when first introduced, and as the series' only real selling point could be it's action (Which isn't very good anyway.) and real action sequences are rare, and spread extremely thin.
