The questions I hear most often are about new episodes of FLCL. Why are there only 6 episodes? Will Gainax make a FLCL 2? Is there going to be a FLCL movie?

The simple answer is no, Gainax will probably not (and has no plans to) release any FLCL sequel. The series is a completed work. It was written and produced as a 6 part series. Since production, the staff have all gone their own ways in life and Gainax is very busy with all of their new shows.

Instead of focusing on what Gainax wont do, it would be a better to focus on what we (FLCL fans) can do. FLCL can be expanded with flash games, unofficial episodes, fan comics, fan fiction, etc. There is already quite a bit of fan-made material on FLCL World, but also keep an eye on the Submit board.

Synch-Point, the North American distributer of FLCL, has been very successful with their line of FLCL products. They are still releasing new FLCL merchandise!

I do like your idea, and you giving us gaianax's e-mail, im sure unofficial FLCL things would help a little bit, but i think that there is nothing that can be more great than the FLCL that the original creators made. Its like i said before, i would rather look back and say i tried, then look back and wish i did try.

i see where he coming from though we're dealing with a big company it probably wont have time for us just two teenagers but still theres a time for thought and there a time for action.

im thinking action is a lot better at this point.

but its not just us, its the whole community of people who are fans of FLCL..its not just us, its the whole community of FLCL fans.

i think we stand a chance.
but publicity is critical do you think takai could give us more publicity using admin powers maybe aa ad like banner in an easy to spot place on the site?

i can assure you, i have many connections with people
they can find things you can never believe to find on the internet, and one of them (im sure of) would be more than happy to help witht he cause

this is great. things are looking up.
but still this site if we could use it better like takai can it would help a tremendous amount the fans that are here are numerous and dedicated. i only hope they will allow themselves to be lead...

only those who are big enough fans will join and help us.

and maybe my friend (the artist) can be really helpful, maybe more then i think

even if they arent big fans they may help us anyway of they are properly convinced. do you think that we can get takai to make the gainax episode 7 topic sticky?

we do both, if they are unsure, hopefully takai helping us would make some unsure people joinnin the cause, we could make a petition (using our real names perhaps :p)

alright, and if its ok with takai zmobie can make some incredible web graphics that can really impress some people, and may cause people to spread the word.
