The kids in South Park were fouled-mouth, troublesome, dis-obedient punks! And the kids who watched it represented a big middle-finger to what a kid shouldn't do!
It fits perfectly with one of FLCL's many themes, "Rebellion"! Holy shi....I just mind blowned myself...
