Postby cd » Fri Dec 10, 2010 9:30 pm

What songs should I learn first?

I already knew For Whom The Bell Tolls and Space Trucking before hand and I tought myself California Uber Alles yesterday.

Here lies a toppled god —
His fall was not a small one.

I can't use it yet, I've been playing the songs on a real guitar, I figure being able to walk and stuff will be better then starting off with no idea.

Dean actually, guitar center was having a deal, comes with a bass (a cheap one, though most reviews said it was a good starter bass), a case, a bass amp (we already had an amp but fuck having to buy another) a strap, a cable, and (for some reason) picks. They had an exact replica of Paul Mcartney's bass and I really wanted it, but it was 400 dollars, we'd also have to buy a new amp, and I shouldn't get a really expensive one for my first.

Didn't think of that. Good idea.

Paul's bass was a piece of shit, two piece neck
Take my word on it.

And picks are good for metal on a bass.

I want to say a Fender Jazz, but I may be way off man.

I know he used a Wah Wah pedal, but that's about it.

I've been looking for an hour and I'm not finding anything. I think it's a Fender Precision Bass.

I didn't know he wrote most of Sabbath's songs either.
