I recently got this, I fucking pissed myself with fear.
If you like this Horror games. THIS IS A HORROR GAME.
It doesn't rely on set pieces. It doesn't rely on jump scares.
You have no weapons, you hide in the dark things creep around and AHHHH God. I spent like 5 minutes just willing myself to fully open a door in that game.

from what i have heard, it's pretty generic.
"oooh, there's a monster following you through a deserted castle and you have to solve puzzles and fetch items"
may not be the same as most other mainstream horror games, but it's still pretty generic.

Oh. I dunno, I'm just kind of tired of this new wave of horror that translates into "Monsters jump out!".

You could say the same about every game. Honestly, it's all been done before, so you can either do it better or slightly different enough to be considered "innovative".
Besides that it's an awesome game.
