Review your headphones!

Postby Glow » Thu Feb 10, 2011 11:09 pm

witch ones do you use/like
any brands you hate?

post pictures!!!!!

I use these-

JVC over the head headphones

good:
good bass, great at blocking out sound, they come in colorful colors!, and I like them better then the earbud headphones cuz that shit always falls out and it gets really fucking annoying.

bad:
cord is a little long, but easy to get used to, a little hard to handle when they are around my neck cuz I always accidentally yank the cord.
the first pair I had broke after 6 months, but I taped over some parts of the cord and its been longer then 6 months with my second pair.

only $20, I figure they're worth replacing every half year, since earbud headphones break after awhile too

Sony Earbuds

they suck, dont buy them. Crappy bass, they dont fall out of your ear much, but still do sometimes. I rarely use them, so I dont know their lifespan, they were like $13

JVC Gumy Earbuds

really good sound, rarely fall out of your ear
lasted me a little less then a year, only $10

I would like to get some Bose headphones, but they're expensive.
Curretnly I'm using TNMT earbuds, shitty quality, but they're the only ones I have.

BOSE suck, avoid. They have no bass at all. Terrible for Hard Rock or Metal.

Audio Technica ATH-700s

Beautiful sound, very isolating, great dynamic range (5Hz to 25,000 I think) but massive as fuck. Imagine the size of your fist...and then double it. There is no way you would want anyone to see you wearing these, they look stupid...but they sound fantastic.

K-OS Porta-Pros

Awesome headphones, great design, low price, shitty wiring. Perfect if you want cheap but amazing headphones that you have to solder to fix occasionally.

Or I sold them for years and dealt with countless models.

Could be that.
