FLCL on TV tonight

Postby zenith » Sun Apr 10, 2011 7:44 am

I just noticed FLCL is on adult swim tonight at 1:30.
We have all seen it many times, and most have it on DVD, but I still feel compelled to watch it.

indeed.
Here lies a toppled god —
His fall was not a small one.
We did but build his pedestal,
A narrow and a tall one.

Little Steven's Underground Garage comes on the stereo at midnight, so I will have to watch with the sound off.

I watched my very first episode of FLCL that night. Had to pick up the full DVD set the very next day. I still have this buzz in me from watching it. Wish I could have found out about this a LONG time ago.

Yea. I watch it everytime AS airs it.

It gives me some nostalgic memories. It never comes close to when I first saw it when I was 14 years old. Going through the same feelings as him. Never did catch on to the metaphors until I ran into this site a year ago or two.

I couldn't believe the amount of metaphors that I missed until I saw the extra's on the DVD and this site as well. I guess I was mesmerized by everything else FLCL has to offer.

Yea! It just seemed like a bunch of randomness with pervy humor and funny dialouge. Enough to keep any boy entertained. There was always this "connection" I felt all through out the anime though. Something I couldn't explain.

Now I know.

Who's gonna watch it tonight?

It's gonna be on Adult Swim at 1:30 or 2:00 P.M. central. I forget, heh. But I always catch it.

Now close your eyes for a moment, imagine all kinds of crazy stuff going on, you are in an insane asylum, with tons of raging lunatics running toward you, what will YOU do to prevent your death?
