SWEEPING GENERALIZATIONS SURE ARE FUN! Also, atheism isn't a religion.

I don't remember who said "You might as well pick a religion because if you are wrong you go to hell," but it's views like this that show how weak some humans are. We would still believe the fucking universe revolves around earth if everyone would have accepted what they had been taught by the catholic church.

I'm atheist and if God does decide to reveal himself one day I still wouldn't worship him, considering what a horrible job he has done.

lol13.

Also, Galileo Galilei was a Christian. Just sayin. Scripture never said Earth was the center of the universe.

Also, Job? He gave humans free will, all actions taken by humans cannot be contributed to God. Your logic fails.

Free will doesn't exist.

Prove it.

We are completely made up of atoms that are governed by set physical laws. It's basic rationality to have cause and effect. Whatever happened before my current event of typing this out some chemical reactions in my mind happened and we keep regressing from past events until we get back to the original event (whatever that may be). From the original event we have to assume that whatever the first cause is set up everything else in motion.

No, you're just a bible thumper so all logic fails to you.

Also, I was not saying scripture anointed earth the center of the universe. Go read again.

just because someone reads the bible their logic fails?

that sounds rather unfair and pretty biased
i may not be the most spiritual person as of late

Technically it is, seeing as how you have to put faith into not believing in a god - since there's no proof of one existing or not existing.

Not really. For me, it's just a general lack of caring about pretty much everything. It's not a concious effort or anything, and it doesn't require any lifestyle changes. I don't go through life thinking "there is no god" all the time or anything.

Some atheists try to organize, but it's all pretty silly. I live my life generally as I choose to.

The only difference (generally) between atheists and christians is the belief in a god. We aren't all crazy anarchists, just like you all aren't fanatical bible humpers.

But you're still putting effort in when you say there isn't a god, even if you don't care.

What are you doing right now or at least when you were posting your beliefs about god?

Why are you even here arguing with people about things when you don't even care?

The all powerful leg humping marshmallow deity knows all.

You cannot say he does not exist because you can't prove it.

See how stupid that sounds?

1.So you just quoted me and talked about Atheists for no reason right?

2.All I get is a contradicting umad paragraph? How disappointing. I simply stated my point, then you got bitchy, but if you want to pretend I got all bitchy that's cool too.

Aww, now he's attempting to argue that reading of the bible defaces all logic. Cute argument, but fails. You failed to argue a single point. Thus failed.

You implied it was a Christian thing. Not a Catholic one. Thus implying it must be scripture.

It may sound pretty stupid, but it sounds even more stupid when the only responses you can respond with are "URreligion r dum" and not actually give out a legitimate argument.

You were talking about how there would be no way to prove a god exists, I was just adding onto the conversation.

If you want to make it look like I'm trolling and avoid all of my comments, then fine, lolitroll.

Did I say you were arguing about there was no god? Jesus can you read? Because I was saying if you're going to put on a smug "I don't really care" attitude, then you might as well leave the conversation.
