Never Knows Best

I am completely baffled by the meaning of "Never Knows Best". Any ideas?

On a side note, who is getting that shiny new FLCL Ultimate Edition when it come out =)

It only shows the Never Knows Best in a depressional statis. Plus, who would put that on a cigarette??? Kinda feel sorry for that company must not get alot of costomers... Maybe It means that smokings like another one of Mammimi's outletes as it is for many people.

in my comic Stick RPG I have a guy who smokes NKB brand cigs.
he's very much based on Mamimi.
cuz once the comic gets serious(it's current tone is comedy),he'll burn down their apartment on purpose,then after a while he'll ditch his new home & live in the streets till he winds up dead,still smoking his Never Knows Best cigarettes.
the comic will be funny for a while,but then turn into a drama.

and i think they're rite but still a ways off. u c someone and/or something knows whats best for mamimi. mamimi thinks she knows whats best for mamimi wouldn't she not make her own choices if she did not believe in it that way? wouldn't she just be scared to make any choices or just make stupid ones because she didnt care? i mean makes sense o me she's a smart girl and knows what choices to make and how to make a living, does she not? so i think someone who would say that wouldnt mean it that exact way. But enough about what is isn't and more about what it is. it is very much so meant for the deeper meanings chart thats for sure but never knows best saying it strikes a sense of familiarity doesn't it? {i know i ask a lot of retorcal quuestions. old habit}so its something we all should know. what i think it means? simply this: never doing things at certain times might be best for all of us.

Ex: for instance when mamimi decided not to try and save herself from that fire takkun ended up saving her instead. through him, her and noeta meet. hence the sub plot of our many favorite mangas!
