What is your best gaming console?

I doubt that. Considering the ever increasing lack of games made for the platform, I see a certain decline.

Very few games on the PC I feel I need.

Now, go get Witcher 2 and attempt to play it on this "3-4" year old pc. I want to see how this works out for you.

I can do all of this actually, and this was a cheap computer not made for gaming, the only thing I put in was a graphics card last year. Upgrading your processor and graphics card will cost you maybe maybe 200 every 4-5 years, which is the usual life span for consoles.

if i had to rank my systems, it'd be:

1. PS1 because i'm a JRPG fan
2. SNES, for similar reasons
3. NES, because some of my fondest oldest memories are of playing super mario bros 1 (as well as duckhunt! with the gun too) and smb3, marble madness, teenage mutant ninja turtles (the beat em up one, not the platformer), double dragon, and all those classics.
4. ps2
5. genesis
6. pc
7. gamegear

as for ones i don't have (but still play or have played at other's houses) i'd put gameboy(and gbc) below pc but above gamegear, N64 between ps2 and genesis, xbox between N64 genesis, xbox 360 between ps2 and n64, Wii below gameboy but above gamegear.
