Probation photo? Really. What for?

Assualt. That was my 3rd or 4th time I believe. I was an angry child. Suprise suprise.

Along with being socially awkard, I had plenty of oprotunities to get into fights/trouble.

What provoked you most of the time?

Odd things. Simple insults, touching me, etc etc.

The ones I got arrested for all involved someone touching me while I was already angry.

Are you still like that?

Not so much. I tried to stab one of my bosses once, but that was after a 19 hour shift on black friday, and he pushed me...

But even that was 4 years ago.

I don't see you getting mad very easily. I'm curious as to what really set you off in the first place? Or were you just different back then?

I was angrier. Anger fades with age.

I still snap from time to time, but for the most part I don't rage as hard.

I kinda figured. It's pretty admirable that you changed so much over such a short amount of time. I know you might not think it wasn't, but you'd be surprised. I've met people who have relatively not changed at all for a decade at least. At times it can be pretty pathetic.

The threat of going back to jail does wonders.

I sorta know what you mean. Being threatened to be stuck in certain places got me out of certain ruts in my past, too. Not anything like jail if you think about it, that's being a bit melodramatic, but still. The only person who's threatened to bring get me to jail was my mother's boyfriend, and his reasoning of me being thrown in there was pretty flawed. Who threatened you? Cops or particular people?

Being in jail threatened me... and ma and cops reminded me I could go back.

I was in for a short period, but it was enough.

I've known a few people who have been to jail, so I know how serious that is despite how "short" the time was. I once met someone who got beat the day in too. I know it's not always a sob story, but I know it's stupid when I hear people say "aw, what a pussy. it was just a little while, stfu about it." There's a lot of people like that at school, too.

What was your Mom's take on all of this in general?
