If you're drinking with a group of people someone's probably going to throw up.

I've been to one legit party and it wasn't even that legit.

I get together with people and we all put up for bud or something to drink. They're never actual parties though. Just...small gatherings?

At your age maybe. Not sayin I've never puked, but people often drink and not hurl.

Sure people do, but in that kind of setting there's usually a lot of drinking going, people egging each other on to drink more. There's usually at least one person that throws up. It's not ALWAYS going to happen but it's nothing out of the ordinary.

We're also usually drinking hard liquor rather then beer. I've never thrown up from beer.

I actually have a stomach problem so I wouldn't know what's in the norm for most people. I've learned to understand my limits though and I was doing fine. That night I wouldn't have thrown up if they hadn't offered me that specific drink, which I didn't want in the first place. She called it a "House Special". Whatever it was, it wasn't mixed right & had no degree of equilibrium whatsoever. I used to drink straight liquor when I could and it tasted just like that.

I usually stick to shots, and later on mix whatever I'm drinking with something.

My problem is I'm a huge lightweight. I can keep up with people, it just hits me quickly. I don't really mind though. It saves me money.

Being a lightweight is convenient in general. The extra money is always good, but it's a lot more fun that way anyway, and you already know you're "there". People who aren't lightweights keep drinking and by the time they find out it's working sometimes they're completely shitfaced instead of just being pleasantly buzzed like they were going for.

There's always that one person in the group who has to keep proclaiming about how he's not drunk at all.

Lol yeah. That person is usually the one that wants something, which is why he/she is saying that. What they want is simply just as simple as "more alcohol" or someone to "take them seriously". The next day they'll either admit they were drunk/tipsy, deny it so next time it happens you will believe them, or deny it to themselves for the same reason.
