Drugs! If all else fails, suicide is a great alternative to any problem

Tell us what specific problems you're having and maybe we can help. In general though, take shit in stride and dont let it get to you.

His fall was not a small one.
We did but build his pedestal,
A narrow and a tall one.

Well I used to be extremely anxious. I think exposure is the key thing. I hate to sound like a self help book but whatever makes you anxious you have to slowly and gradually expose yourself to it until you become comfortable. As for generalized anxiety; do something that takes your mind off of things. A hobby preferably.

Well, a lot of people tell me they don't even know I have anxiety problems because I'm pretty good at talking to people. It's just even though I can do it, it's extremely stressful. A little bit ago I was getting these really bad tension headaches but ever since I had my dose of Zoloft increased it's felt better. It's just when I feel my anxiety coming back I don't know what to do.

Oh and I have social anxiety disorder by the way

Yeah SAD sucks. I was never on meds so I can't tell you you'd be better off without them but I think that if you just put yourself out there you'll start to feel more relaxed around people. It's tough at first. You really have to will yourself. I mean your problems aren't ever as severe as you perceive them, especially when it comes to psychological ailments. I know that drugs relax you but just take some time in the day to do something that you really enjoy. Honestly, if you fear others judging you it helps to realize that most people have that same fear. Usually those overconfident dick holes are the worst. Eventually I just stopped giving a shit because everyone is too fucking busy worrying about themselves to care about what's going on in your head.

What a lot of people don't get about zoloft is it's not like xanex or something like that where it's pretty much just a recreational drug. It's a passive thing, I don't even notice it's effect besides me being less anxious. As long as I don't obsess over things I think I'll be fine.

(recovering) Obsessive-compulsive disorder reporting in

They gave me zoloft once, made me obnoxious, annoying, loud.
but to be fair at first the dose was fine, it helped get me off rock bottom, but that's all I think I really needed it for, they would raise the dose every month
they ask my mom "how is she"
mom says "she still seems depresso, better give her more"

im just low key. Maybe only ever needed a small amount, ill admit it did help me tremendously at first, but they were giving me too much by the end of it, I skipped a few days and my friends noticed the difference. decided to go off of them after that. only took them for about a year, but anyways off topic...

exercising will help with anxiety, although it sucks, its true

As far as what helps me, I have three things-

1- In public I take frequent breaks, go to the restroom to splash water on my face, step outside for fresh air. every hour or two. it really helps me stay calm and clear minded

2- Stress make it worse. if I find myself washing my hands more often then normal it is ALWAYS because something is bothering me emotionally. I do my best to remove myself from said situation as fast as possible, or else I know ill get worse.
also if you are stressed I recommend taking some time alone and thinking your shit out. it helps allot, that way you know exactly:
-what your doing,
-what you need to do to make it better
-why you feel the way you do.

yesss ALLOT of alone time. It does wonders

3- Vent, I usually talk about things bothering me or just life in general with a best friend (dont like to talk to any family because they would be too close to the situation,[also allot of the time I happen to be bitching about my family]but family works too) just let it all out to someone you can trust, feel comfortable around, and can relate to, saying what bothers you is always a good thing to do, that way you don't have as many pent up emotions, also talking with a friend can help you put things in perspective, and help you deal with issues better, and your friend might have some good advise aswell :]

thats all, it works for me, hopefully these three things can help

Very true, got pretty depressed over summer once. Tried to talk t a friend who has depression about it. Start hearing all these stories about how life is pointless, and if I felt the same way. Literally felt 10 times worse.

oh yeah, I forgot your in school. that sucks,
maybe you could ask your Counselor to switch your classes around, like, one elective then one academic so you can go walk around campus in your elective classes for a bit (depending on how strict your teacher is)

other than that all you can really do is crawl into a ball and wait for high school to be over

and there is always home school if you need it

Smoking cigarettes also works if you don't mind the cons. I'm not a regular smoker, but whenever I do smoke them on the rare occasion, they really do help relax me.
