Technically, he did (although hitting a TV was merely a surrogate of what he'd *really* like to do at the moment - and actually did in the manga). I was referring to Amarao insisting that it was Kamon that Naota hit. Since Naota didn't *know* about the robot, "symbolising how Kamoon is a robot" isn't worth much, in my opinion.
What I don't get is how Naota revived Kamon by dumping water on him
Well, the corpse was dehydrated from staying for long time in the closet, so filling it with water revived him. It's totally unrealistic, of course, but what ever in anime usually isn't?
