No Meaning to FLCL

Though I personally don't believe this, is it not possible that there is no deeper meaning to FLCL? Couldn't the creators at Gainax just have made a strange and compelling anime and left the meaning to be decided by the viewer?

Uhm...no. There are deeper meanings to FLCL because I doubt the creators could have creating this and people could find deeper meanings in it.

But seriously, I agree and think that if so many people thought there was some symbolism in it, most likely it's intentional.

There are deeper meanings in all creative work, it does not matter if there ment to be, or not ment to be, it just pours from the writers soul.

This is by the subconscious, the mind cannot make anything random. The more random you try to make something the more pattern like it becomes. But i believe this show, the writters put meaning into it intentionally.

I agree with what most of everyone else has said. Though strange (A good kind of strange :D) at first, once you take time to think about the show and whats possibly behind it, you realize what you may of just missed. Whether it be a emotional/funny/ or perverted (no shortage of those in the show :wink: ) meaning.
