i have a list of things i am confused about in the series
1.why does mamimi have never knows best on her cigs
2.why 6 episodes?why not 7?
3.why doesn't Kamon get the robots and stuff comming out of his head?
4.where did the stupid cat "ta-kun" come from

Well, first of all, on the commentary, the dude was inspired by a postcard with the same image, and thought it fit, and mimiced it.

Second of all, it is sort of according to the manga, and just an Animation geinua (spelling?) pig. Like that scene in episode one when Canti returns from chores.

The other two i don't know. I hope that helped.

The anime actually came before the manga, I'd imagine it's six episodes, because that is how long the story took, and for no other reason than that.

The Kamon thing is explained in episode 4 Haruko tries to use him, it doesn't work (very few people are capable of channeling no, your head is the only one that works takun, he dies kinda, she makes robo Kamon so on.

The never noes best thing is speculative as to it's meaning, there are actually a few threads about it, it's probably the most common question asked.

Mammi finds the cat in episode 2.
"I was playing with Takun and my shoes floated away"
"with who"
"takun"
"he's Takun too?"
....
"you rescued him, a stray cat"
"yeah, I'm like a god huh? A protector of the weak, you know lord Canti chief. And the cat's not stupid

The show was all just an way for the creators to test out their new equipment, which is why it is only 6 episodes long. Check the FAQ http://www.flclw.com/frequently-asked-questions/ . The part with Mamimi finding Takkun was her trying to be a god. As she says " a protector of the weak."
