I was talking about the VOICE ACTING. How the VOICE ACTING didn't fit how Light is supposed to be seen as in the beginning. Plus, in my post, I even commented on how the scenes follow the manga 100%.

...sorry, i'm in a pissy mood right now, and I don't know why, lol...*sweatdrop* maybe it's because i'm babysitting for two kids right now and they're SCREAMINGGGGGGGGGGG LIKE MAAAAAAAAADD....

Alright, I think I've found my new favorite anime. I utterly loved this episode of Death Note. It had a wonderfully crafted confrontation in the second act of the episode that, if it's indicative of the rest of the series, proves that we're in for a real treat.

I loved the last act of this episode. The psychological confrontation between L and Kira was stunning, filled with twists, shocks, and surprises. I love how both L and Kira think that they are the righteous ones and that the other is the evil one. It provides for a wonderful contrast that will likely propel the rest of the series forward.

Like I said, if this episode is any indication, then we're in for a real treat. Because this episode of Death Note was absolutely stunning. Can't wait for more.

lol, yup. It's those same thoughts that I had that made me buy all 12 volumes of the manga over the course of just one month. (now i'm broke :cry:

)

However, wait untill somewhere around the middle of the series, (when something extremely idiotic on the writer's part happens), or untill the horrible ending that the series has before you dub it your favorite. I was willing to call it that for a while, but...meh. It gets tiring. Plus that thing that happens around the middle (I know people who have already read/watched the whole series know what i'm talking about) is...ugh.

WHYYYYYYY?! I almost cried when I read it.

i saw the second episode yesterday night and i was freaked out!

When L. was makeing the brodcast and kira killed him :shock:

, i just said to my self.

"wow..... To think he was some hotshot detective and he died just by mocking him :lol:

...."

Just as soon as i said that the real, .L. came on the broadcast, and i was practically sh*ting myself it was so clever on how he put a prisoner on death row in his place to see if kira even has to be there to kill him.

Shocking! [size=0]not too shocking but you know what i mean.[/size]

so any way yeah a detective and a (soon to be) god, going at it. so it seems pretty epic.

Definitely pulling for Light to get fried one way or another. He's a bastard and I hope he dies. First he was just killing criminals, but now he's killing innocent people to save his own ass. Somebody kill this mother f**ker.
